Clinical & research interests

After spending PGY1-4 at St. Louis University School of Medicine, I transferred to Washington University in 2021. I am interested in skull base surgery and neuro-oncology, as well as researching novel adjuvant therapies for CNS tumors. Additionally, I have been investigating changes in the blood brain barrier after LITT, and whether surgeons can take advantage of those changes to increase the CNS penetrance and efficacy of adjuvant therapies.

I have completed a year as a post-doctoral research fellow in the lab of Albert Kim, MD, PhD and I will complete the Advanced Surgical Neuro-oncology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine as an enfolded fellowship during my training. This fellowship is led by Brain Tumor Center Director Albert Kim and Chief of the Division of Neurotechnology Eric Leuthardt, MD.
