Kayla Jarrett, PA-C

Kayla Jarrett is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Washington University. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from Missouri State University in 2018. She then attended Drexel University in Philadelphia and graduated with a Master of Health Science – Physician Assistant degree in 2023. During PA school, she did a neurosurgical rotation at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, which is where she developed a passion for neurosurgery. Throughout her rotation at Mount Sinai, she was able to assist in and observe numerous surgeries, work in the NSICU, and work with the outpatient neurosurgical team.

As a recent graduate, Kayla feels well-prepared to take on a neurosurgical PA-C role, and is excited to continue to learn from the surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers at Washington University. She enjoys building a rapport with patients and earning their trust by understanding their unique needs, and creating a care plan that not only fits their lifestyle, but also gives them the best possible individualized treatment plan.
