R25 grants awarded to four neurosurgery residents

We are proud to announce that four Washington University Neurosurgery residents were recently awarded the prestigious R25 Resident Research Education Program Grant, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Washington University is one of a small number of neurosurgery programs in the country that offer this opportunity to residents.

PGY5 Kevin Cross, MD, PGY5 Carl Hacker, MD, PhD, and PGY5 Anja Srienc, MD, PhD, received renewals on their R25 grants. In addition, PGY4 Rowland Han, MD, was awarded a new R25 grant for this year. Our residency program continues to thrive because of our exceptional residents.
