Kelsie Mentz, NP

Kelsie Mentz is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Science and Nursing.  Kelsie worked as a bedside nurse in the Intensive Care Unit for five years, while obtaining her Master’s degree in Science and Nursing from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College.  As an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, she worked in the ICU and later transferred to the Kidney Transplant Program.  

Kelsie is very excited to join the Department of Neurosurgery at Washington University.  She is hopeful to apply past knowledge and deliver the best care possible to this patient population.  When she isn’t working, Kelsie enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
