Research focus
Dr. Hong Chen’s research focuses on medical ultrasound. Her goal is to develop ultrasound-based image-guided drug delivery platforms for cancer therapy through combining the diagnostic and therapeutic functions of ultrasound, integrating physical acoustics with the development of medical ultrasound devices, and bridging basic and translational research.
Chen Ultrasound Lab
The Chen Ultrasound Lab combines engineering, biology, and medicine to develop innovative focused ultrasound techniques to improve the lives of patients with brain diseases.
