Amber Criswell, FNP

Amber Crisell is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Christian Hospital. She began her nursing career in 2013 and spent most of it as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. In 2019 she graduated from Chamberlain University with a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Amber worked as a Hospitalist for more than three years, and was commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve in 2020. She continues to serve as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, after previously serving 10 years enlisted in the Missouri National Guard.  Amber has been interested in Neurosurgery since sustaining a traumatic brain injury in 2015 and is fascinated with how the brain heals and can create new neuro pathways. She is honored to be a part of Washington University’s Neurosurgery team and to guide patients through their neurosurgery journeys.
