The weekend of graduation is an opportunity to not only recognize our graduating neurosurgery chiefs and fellows, but also to take a moment and recognize the exceptional commitment of our residents and faculty.
During a festive ceremony hosted by Chair Greg Zipfel, MD, and his wife MaryJo Hernandez-Zipfel, MD, graduating chiefs Adam Bevan, MD, PhD, Dan Hafez, MD, PhD, and Peter Sylvester, MD, were honored and each given a photo of the old Barnes and McMillan Hospitals (a department tradition). In addition, annual awards were given to recognize neurosurgery faculty and residents.
