We study disorders of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) physiology such as hydrocephalus and Chiari-associated syringomyelia. 

Identify molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration in Huntington’s disease.

The Zipfel Lab aims to understand the mechanisms driving acute and chronic cerebrovascular diseases, identify new molecular targets, and develop novel therapies that will improve the lives of our patients.
