Congratulations to our own Hong Chen, PhD, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Neurosurgery in the Taylor Family Department of Neurosurgery, on her induction into the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows.
Election to the AIMBE College of Fellows is among the highest professional distinctions in the field, representing the top 2% of engineers in medicine and biology.
Dr. Chen was recognized for her innovations in noninvasive focused ultrasound techniques to advance brain disease diagnosis, therapy, and understanding of brain function. Her work continues to push forward a bold and emerging field known as NeuroSonics.
