Julie A. Boschert, APRN-CNP
Julie A. Boschert is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in spine care. She has more than 27 years of experience in the nursing industry. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 1997. She later attended Maryville University and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing, becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She has served for over five years as an adjunct nursing clinical faculty member at the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College.
Julie enjoys the challenges of intense surgeries and developed a passion for neurosurgery after working at Mercy ICU and in the PACU. This led her to begin her provider journey in pain management with a main focus on spine treatments. She continued her interest in treating conditions of the spine in the department of neurosurgery at SSM St. Clare Hospital. Her unique blend of experience in critical care, pain management, and neurosurgery enables her to provide comprehensive treatments for neurological conditions, with a particular focus on spinal disorders.
Julie is now a part of the Washington University Neurosurgery team and brings a compassionate approach to her role, emphasizing patient-centered care, education, and holistic management strategies.
Outside of her professional career, Julie is a proud mother of two. She enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, golf, and water sports, including water skiing, scuba diving, and swimming with her family and friends.
