The entire spectrum of neurosurgical disorders in children are treated by neurosurgery and related disciplines at the St. Louis Children's Hospital. Among them are hydrocephalus, spasticity, epilepsy, brain and spinal tumors, craniosynostosis, brachial plexus injury, head injury, spine and spinal cord injury, arachnoid cyst, achondroplasia, neonatal intraventricular hemorrhage, cerebral aneurysm, cerebral vascular malformations, moya-moya disease, brain abscess and other central nervous system infections, Chiari malformation, syringohydromyelia, craniovertebral junction anomalies, congenital dermal sinus, diastematomyelia, tethered spinal cord, lipomyelomeningocele, encephalocele.
